Brown-Forman Corporation joins with Louisville’s renowned and vibrant foodie community to present the 32nd annual Taste of Derby Festival — the largest Dare to Care Food Bank fundraiser of the year — on April 17, 2018 at Louisville Slugger Field. This premier tasting event will begin at 5 p.m. and will feature  an eclectic lineup of over 40 Louisville eateries and 20 beverage vendors.

Brian Riendeau, Dare to Care Executive Director, says the event is especially critical this year. “Kentuckiana’s need for food assistance remains at a startling level, with one in six families lacking the food they need for a healthy life. With events like the Taste of Derby Festival, and partners like Brown-Forman Corporation, Dare to Care can continue to provide nutrition and hope to the tens of thousands of our neighbors who rely on us.”

Expected again this year are Lilly’s Bistro, Volare, Martini’s Italian Bistro, Bourbons Bistro, Ciao, HopCat, Brasserie Provence and many more. Kentucky bourbon distilleries and beverage companies will be on hand to provide samples of their wares like an Old Forester’s Mint Julep tasting  and a new Spirits Pull with expanded Wine Pull.

Tickets to the Taste of Derby Festival are $85 and include all food and drink for the night. They can be purchased athttp://www.tasteofderbyfestival.org/. Advance sales only, no tickets will be sold at the event. Attendees must be 21 years old or older.
