610 Magnolia’s monthly Pasta Party will be Saturday Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in The Wine Studio, across the street from the restaurant at 610 W. Magnolia Ave. The theme will be the hearty and comforting flavors of fall, served family style. The evening starts with appetizers and a flight of wines suggested for the meal. The $45 cost includes the light canapés, the wine flight and the pasta dinner. Additional beverages with the meal are extra.

Wednesday Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Chef Edward Lee will offer a cooking demonstration and dinner geared to discovering more inventive side dishes to  serve with your Thanksgiving dinner. He calls this event “Everything but the Bird,” as he focuses on the other culinary accouterments that make the traditional holiday dinner special.

The interactive culinary lesson will be followed by a family style dinner. The evening will also include a tasting of wines from 610’s holdings, which will be available for purchase by the bottle or case. Chef Lee and 610’s Wine Director Ricardo Barillas will be on hand to answer menu planning and entertaining questions.

The cooking demo and meal, which will take place in The Wine Studio across the street from the restaurant, will be $75, which will  include the cooking demo, assorted canapés, family style dinner and wine flight.
