8UP Bourbon dinner to feature Wathen’s

Tonight, Wednesday, April 6, at 7 p.m., 8UP Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen, atop the Hilton Garden Inn at 350 W. Chestnut St., will host Charles Medley, Master Distiller of Wathen’s Bourbon at a 3-course dinner pairing dishes by Executive Chef Jacob Coronado with cocktails devised by Beverage Director Clay Livingston.

The dinner will get off to a lively start at the reception with a Kentucky Corpse Reviver.

The first course will be seared scallops with duck prosciutto and fava bean puree, served with a  Clarified Milk Punch. The entree will be cocoa-scented fillet mignon with Weisenberger grits and asparagus. The cocktail will be a Continental Sour.

Dessert will be a thyme panna cotta with Meyer lemon meringue, served with a No Thyme for Manhattan.
