An Italian restaurant focusing on artisanal pizzas, wine and craft beer, BirraCibo, is having a soft opening this week in 4th Street Live, in the space that used to be RiRa Irish Pub. The first night of this tryout soft opening will be tonight, Feb. 24, starting at 5 p.m. with a media preview event. The grand opening is now set for Feb. 29.
The large, 9,000-square-foot restaurant will seat over 100 diners and offer an outdoor patio as well as a charcuterie station behind the main bar. Two private rooms will be available for private parties and events.
The new restaurant is part of Junior Bridgeman’s ever-growing restaurant empire. His company has brought in Bruce Mosely as executive chef, who has worked at several gastro-pubs in California and in the Washington, D.C., area.
