As a highlight of Champagne July, LouVino Highlands will host a Roederer Champagne dinner on July 19, starting at 6:30 p.m.  The menu will include a grilled asparagus salad with whipped foie gras, Iberico lardo and seared scallops, sliced tenderloin with foie compound butter, and for dessert peaches and cream with dulce de leche ice cream.

The wines from both France and California to be served include 2009 Louis Roederer Champagne Brut “Cristal,” and Louis Roederer Brut “Premier” Champagne (NV), both from France, and California sparkling wines made in the “méthode champenoise” 2009 “L’Ermitage” Brut by Roederer Estate and Roederer Estate Brut Rosé Multi Vintage.
