Forecastle Festival, which began on a shoestring in 2002 now is operated by a Foundation with a big budget. To try to keep that budget in the black, Copper and Kings, 1121 E. Washington St., will host a brunch benefit for the Forecastle Foundation charity on Saturday July 18 and Sunday July 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The brunch will include a breakfast sandwich brunch plate prepared by RYE on Market, and live music by neo-soul hip-hop band Jenna Dean and 1200. A cash bar featuring drinks hard and soft by Copper & Kings will be available.

Tickets are $10 a person, and can be purchased in advance or at the door. The Forecastle Foundation will receive $2 from the purchase of each ticket. Buy tickets online here .
