The Louisville outpost of the world-wide phenomenon Hard Rock Café, located at Fourth Street Live, has started a World Burger Tour, which will consist of rotating seven burgers with themes from world cuisines onto its menu in the coming months.

Diners eager for an international eating experience, but still reluctant to venture too far from the trodden path, will be able to sample a Kimchi burger, dressed with spicy kimchi, bulgogi sauce, lettuce, tomato and spicy mayo, for instance. The Tango Salsa burger will feature Argentinian influences with andouille sausage, salsa criollo, garlic aioli, Monterey Jack cheese, arugula and a fried egg.

Other World Burgers in coming months will include the Spanish-inflected Ole burger, with red pepper romesco sauce, aioli, roasted vegetables, goat cheese crumbles and arugula; the Jambalaya burger, with echoes of NOLA in its mayo, pickles, andouille sausage, pepper jack cheese and a jambalaya rice cake.

The Greek burger, of course, has a yogurt sauce, but also is crowned with a scoop of eggplant salad. In addition to fried plantains, the Colombian plantain burger will also have garlic aioli and a molasses sauce. For those who dare, the English breakfast burger will be dressed with British breakfast sausage, grilled mushroom and an egg. And vegetarians can wait for the introduction of the Indian inspiration, a vegetable patty made with red skin potato, spinach, chili peppers, cilantro, chickpeas and spices, topped with arugula, tomato, cucumber and a spiced yogurt sauce.
