Jefferson Bourbon dinner at 8UP

On Wednesday, March 16, 8UP Elevated Drinkery and Kitchen, 350 W. Chestnut St. atop the Hilton Garden Inn, will host a 3-course dinner, each course paired with a cocktail made with Bourbon from a hand-selected barrel of Jefferson’s Groth Cask Reserve.  Jefferson’s Bourbon Master Distiller Trey Zoeller will be the special guest to concoct the cocktails and talk about Jefferson Bourbon.

The aperitif will be a Ward Eight made with Jefferson’s, lemon juice, simple syrup and grenadine.  The local seasonal greens salad will be paired with a Jefferson’s Sazerac, and the entrée will be a half lobster and crispy pork belly with coconut bubbles, espuma fritters and a lobster bordelaise. he cocktail will be a Brooklyn – Jefferson’s, Contratto Bianca, Luxardo Maraschino and Angostura bitters. Dessert will be a cheesecake with chocolate soil, ginger bread wisps, blood orange, and basil pearls, paired with a Jefferson’s Lemoncello.
