On Friday, June 13, 6:00 p.m., Limestone, 10001 Forest Green Blvd., will offer its traditional Fathers Day dinner, an idea so good that it is strange that no one else has imitated it.

The meal will be a five-course dinner, pairing a different beer with each course for the adults.  The same menu will be offered for the young adults, ages 9 to 18, without the beer, and a special five-course kids’ menu for children under 9 years old will be available as well.

The Dads‘ menu will start with Wiesenberger green chili grit cakes with a beer cheese sauce, paired with a Falls City beer, followed by BBQ pork flat iron steak with blue cheese cole slaw and a Harpoon IPA.

The third course will be a grilled Caesar salad, along with a Stella Artois, followed by the main course, barrel-smoked roasted sirloin with side dishes, paired with Sam Adams Summer Ale.  The dessert will be Guinness tiramisu, with a taste of Guinness stout.

The adults’ dinner will be $35; $30 for seniors, and $18.95 for children 9-18 years  old.

Dada will also get a menu packet with recipes for the marinades, rubs, and dressings served throughout the meal for his grilling adventures the rest of the summer, and a pouch of bourbon barrel wood chips for the grill.

For those who wish to fete ol’ Dad on his actual Father’s Day, Limestone will offer it’s usual Sunday brunch, with some special dishes, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  Price will be $25.95 for adults, $23.95 for seniors, and $18.95 for children.
