The Dinner And Movie Series at Seviche, 1538 Bardstown Rd., continues tonight and tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, June 20 and 21 with a showing of “Bottle Shock,“ which tells the true story of the events leading up to the famous Paris Tastings of 1976, when Napa wines were judged better than famous French wines in a blind tasting. The event gave California wines the cachet to be regarded as among the great wines of the world.

The story is told through the lives ofJim and Bo Barrett, the father and son who founded Chateau Montelena in the early 1970s and whose Chardonnay went on to win what was eventually coined the “Judgment of Paris.”

Dinner & Movie is served in Seviche’s private dining room. Guests will watch the movie on and 10-foot screen while enjoying a cocktail reception and a five-course dinner with wine pairings inspired by the movie.

Showtime for both Monday and Tuesday in 6 p.m. Seating is limited. Movie, dinner and wine will be $95.  Call (502)473-8560.
