After six months of work installing new tables, chairs and booths, and knocking out a wall to reconfigure seating, Señor Iguanas‘ flagship location in Clarksville is ready to celebrate.

The restaurant will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, at the Clarksville location, 1415 Broadway St.and will have music, food and drink specials and giveaways May 29 through June 1.

The renovations started in December, necessitating only a couple of weeks of closure, but the work continued until this week. The changes will provide a more functional seating arrangement, a new entrance facing Lewis and Clark Parkway, and a redone outdoor patio.

The restaurant, started in 2007 by owner Juan Segoviano, now has five locations–one in Indiana and four in Louisville.
