Buy Christmas cookies; help educate a chef

Saturday, Dec. 2, from 1-5 p.m.,  Les Dames d’Escoffier Kentucky will host the organization’s third annual holiday bake sale at Ramsi’s Café, 1293 Bardstown Rd. All proceeds from the sale, which will offer both sweet and savory holiday treats, will benefit LDEIKY’s scholarship fund.

Items available, baked by local celebrated chefs, skilled bakers, and LDEIKY members, include homemade cookies, breads, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, scones, pies, and much more. COOKIES! Get them tomorrow at Copper & Kings

The newly formed Kentucky chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) has come up with a seasonally delightful way to raise some funds for their scholarship fund, which helps culinary students and professionals pursuing LDEI membership, and Green Table, an initiative connecting urban and rural farms to schools and restaurants. The group has arranged a Christmas cookie sale, the cookies baked and donated by 50 area chefs, and all proceeds from the sale goes to the group’s scholarship fund. Continue reading COOKIES!
