Elizabethtown’s Topp’t Pizza opens in  New Albany

Elizabethtown natives Bella Portaro Kueber and her husband Rick Kueber open their second restaurant, Topp’t Pizza and Chopped Salads today, Friday, July 29, at 373 Professional Court, New Albany. Their first Topp’t restaurant opened last year in Elizabethtown at 1617 N Dixie Hwy.

With so many pizzerias in the area, new pizza joints need some sort of hook to make their offerings stand out from the pack. The angle Topp’t Pizza and Chopped Salads take with their fast-casual restaurant is to make a product using as many locally-sourced, Kentucky Proud products as they can. The meats they use on their pies are antibiotic- and hormone-free, and a gluten-free crust is an option.

Topp’t Pizza’s menu includes house specialties like a bacon cheeseburger pizza, a Southwest-inspired pizza, an orchard salad and garlic breadsticks.

The New Albany location is custom designed, with metal tables, wooden booths that will seat about 140 people inside and on the outdoor patio.
